Before I started taking a real interest in the Lotus scene here in Japan, I assumed that owners didn’t really do much with the popular Elise and more extreme Exige models. They both are, of course, rather well-sorted and involving packages from the factory, so aside from a wheel change and a few little carbon additions, what else would you want to do? Festivals of Speed: From Roadsters To Racecars

A few times a year, there is a Concours d’Elegance held in Florida called the Festivals of Speed. These photos are from the event in St Petersburg back in April. I was hoping to show them sooner, but was sidetracked for a while with a broken coolant temperature sensor connector in my Miata. But that’s a story for another time. June 2011 Cars & Coffee at duPont REGISTRY

I’m finally getting around to posting last month’s Cars & Coffee event from three weeks back. Things got derailed a bit when, the day after attending this and an Evo meet at S&R Performance (post on that to come), I woke up with a bad case of what my wife thinks was heat exhaustion. No more 2 event weekends without carrying some water.

Anyways, on this outing to Cars & Coffee, I arrived 20 minutes later than last time (made a wrong turn and had to go over the bridge twice), and had to park outside the event, more over towards the exotics. As a result, this time I’ve got many more photos of the high end rides for you to see after the jump.
