2013 Honda Grand Prix of St Petersburg

It is always exciting this time of year when the Honda Grand Prix takes over the streets of St Pete, but this year was especially thrilling, because I got to shoot as part of the photographer pool for the Grand Prix. This was closer than I’ve ever gotten to see the track, the drivers, the pit lane, and well… everything!

Early on Friday morning, I attended the beginning of the construction of the street course that is annually built on the streets of St Pete for the Honda Grand Prix.

These massive wall pieces weight 12,000 pounds each! They will make up the safety wall of the track. The track is put together piece by piece, with interlocking parts almost like a very large set of Legos. (more…)

November 2011 Cars & Coffee duPont REGISTRY at Innisbrook

On the pre-Thanksgiving weekend, I got to go to not just one, but two events, this being the first. The duPont REGISTRY Cars & Coffee event for last month was held outside of the registry at Innisbrook Golf and Country Club, which provided a pleasant green backdrop for this new set of photos. The big draw for this event was the first Mercedes Benz SLS AMG convertible on U.S. shores, but I was quickly distracted by some classic Mopar racecars and the new Ferrari 458s that were in attendance.

Power Squats and Power Bulges at Auto Collections Las Vegas

1967 California SpyderI had heard that Auto Collections was Las Vegas’ premiere place to go if you want to buy, or just look at, vintage steel.
